the master of arts in Hebrew letters degree.
The master of arts in Jewish studies (MAJS) program offers a serious, graduate-level opportunity to delve deeply into Jewish history, thought, ethics and literature while searching for spiritual meaning. Covering the full breadth of Jewish studies, including Hebrew language, the MAJS provides a sound basis for specializing later.
Once you are granted the title of rabbi, you can add the doctor of Hebrew letters degree by completing the required degree work at RRC, earning a doctorate at an accredited university and submitting to RRC an approved thesis growing out of the doctoral dissertation.
