Preparing to Apply

RRC attracts bright, inquisitive students with diverse backgrounds, life experiences and interests. They include recent college graduates, lawyers, scientists, physicians, musicians, journalists, labor leaders, social workers and others. All come with a keen intellect, a love for Judaism, a commitment to Jewish living and a desire to serve the Jewish people.

They have access to faculty members who are scholars known throughout their field. We recommend that you look at selected faculty and alumni publications for a broader understanding of the quality of academics pursued here. Through its three centers of learning, RRC is setting the standard for superb academic scholarship and innovation in a number of cutting-edge areas.

If you are currently in Israel
RRC has an array of co-curricular activities in Israel that prospective students are welcome to attend. Feel free to visit the Jerusalem Reconstructionist Minyan. We also have a list of ulpanim and academic programs appropriate for prospective students in Israel. To receive a copy of this list or for personalized advice about how to apply to RRC if you are in Israel, contact Rabbi Amber Powers.

Please note that candidates applying from Israel who are invited for an interview may do so by videoconferencing, which RRC will arrange. RRC reserves the right to require a second interview on campus in Wyncote, PA.
