Shades of Gray

This innovative monthly seminar explores the spiritual dimensions of aging through contemporary and classical Jewish literature and experiential exercises. The seminar is open to those who serve Jewish elders—rabbis, cantors, chaplains, seminarians, and professionals in health care, mental health and Jewish community settings. Shades of Gray has been successfully piloted in Philadelphia and New York with Reform, Conservative and Orthodox rabbis, chaplains and cantors and Jewish communal professionals, as well as rabbinical and cantorial students from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, Jewish Theological Seminary, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Yeshivat Chovevei Torah and the Academy for Jewish Religion.
