About Hiddur

Hiddur was created at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2003 to transform the culture of aging, to realize Judaism’s vision of later life as a season of splendor. Hiddur advances scholarship, trains rabbis and, through national programs and resources, empowers elders and their caregivers across the entire spectrum of the Jewish community through lifelong learning (Torah), spiritual and religious engagement (avodah) and contribution of their wisdom and talent to community (gemilut hasadim).
