David Golomb, Ph.D., received his bachelor's degree from Hebrew University and his doctorate from Harvard University. He was assistant professor of Hebrew and ancient Semitic languages at Ohio State University. He is the author of A Grammar of Targum Neofiti (Scholars Press, 1985) and Working With No Data: Semitic and Egyptian Studies Presented to Thomas O. Lambdin (Eisenbrauns, 1987). He has written articles in The Bulletin of the American Schools of Oriental Research, the Journal of the American Oriental Society, the Journal of Near Eastern Studies, Targum Studies, and the Journal for the Study of the Pseudepigrapha.  In addition, Golomb has published reviews in Religious Studies Review, the Catholic Biblical Quarterly and the Modern Language Journal. He is a founding member and former editor of the Hebrew Annual Review.
