Tirzah Rom holds a bachelor of arts in linguistics from Temple University and a senior teacher's degree from David Yalin School of Education in Israel, where she majored in Hebrew grammar and in teaching Hebrew as a second language. Since 1979 she has taught at elementary schools in Jerusalem and religious schools in the Delaware Valley, and has served as a Hebrew instructor at Gratz College. Since 1999 she has taught modern Hebrew at RRC.
