Since RRC's founding in 1968, we have done remarkable work with modest resources. In less than 40 years, we have opened the rabbinate to diverse voices and trained rabbis who speak across movements and faiths and serve in every area of Jewish life. Our graduates lead congregations, teach the young, counsel college students, comfort the sick and serve the elderly. They create organizations that grapple with society's most intractable problems: hunger, poverty, inequality and injustice. We have built Jewish communities that are relevant for the individual and derive power from collective action.

Even as we celebrate our accomplishments, our eyes are fixed on the work ahead, and only our resources limit our future. The task ahead is twofold: First, we must put our existing program on a stronger financial footing to ensure that all students with the requisite combination of passion and qualifications have access to it. Second, we must extend our reach to strengthen Jewish communities everywhere.
