LEVIN-LIEBER PROGRAM IN JEWISH ETHICS

Jews across America are constantly challenged by the inevitable and sometimes critical ethical dilemmas occasioned by business or health, childrearing or human sexuality. Although the Jewish tradition has a longstanding commitment to moral behavior and social ethics, the contemporary Jewish community has not provided much guidance for Jews seeking to follow traditional Jewish values while taking seriously their moral dilemmas and personal moral outlooks.
