Honorary Chairs Aaron and Marjorie Ziegelman joined Event Chairs Karen Kolodny and Hank Amon to host a special evening celebrating RRC’s 40 years of leadership. The event took place Saturday, December 8, at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City. The College honored the board of governors, past and present.
Guest speaker Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., the chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, shared his thoughts about the power of American ideals and values and the loss of security for the nation when we violate those values. Levin also reflected on growing up in the Reconstructionist movement. He and his wife, Barbara, are founding members of the Reconstructionist Congregation of Detroit and members of the Levin family figure prominently in the national organizations of the Reconstructionist movement, including the RRC board of governors.
