Rabbi Lawson ('18) Recognized in JTA Twitter 50

News

In January 2019, JTA posted a list of “The 50 Jews everyone should follow on Twitter”. The list included rabbis, politicians, chefs, entertainers, and many others — united not by fame or prominence, but by “deep, meaningful engagement with Jewish news and culture, and an ability to drive the conversations around those topics.”

Rabbi Sandra Lawson was one of those featured, chosen for her approachable social media presence and accessible message. A 2018 graduate of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, she serves as associate chaplain of Jewish life at Elon University in North Carolina. Mazel tov!
